Volume (fl oz) = Length × Width × Depth (cubic inches) × 0.554 | Total = Volume × 1.1 (10% waste)
Frequently Asked Questions
How much resin do I need per square foot?
For a thin coating (1/8 inch or 3mm), you need approximately 8 fl oz (237 mL) per square foot. For 1/4 inch thickness, double that to about 16 fl oz per square foot. Always add 10% extra for mixing waste.
What is the difference between coating and deep pour resin?
Coating/table-top resin is designed for thin layers (up to 1/4 inch) and cures quickly with high hardness. Deep-pour (casting) resin can be poured 1-2+ inches thick without overheating, but takes 24-72 hours to cure and is slightly softer.
