Frequently Asked Questions

What is futures PnL?
Futures PnL (Profit and Loss) is the difference between your entry and exit price multiplied by the position size. With leverage, PnL is amplified relative to your margin (collateral).
What is ROE in futures trading?
ROE (Return on Equity) measures your profit relative to the margin you put up, not the full position size. With 10x leverage, a 5% price move results in 50% ROE.
How is liquidation price calculated?
For a long position, liquidation occurs when losses equal your margin: Liq Price = Entry x (1 - 1/Leverage). For shorts: Liq Price = Entry x (1 + 1/Leverage). Actual liquidation prices vary by exchange.
